The Nakata gear extrusion system exhibits extremely superior cost performance, and is ideal for use with pellets or strainers for heated rubber compounds supplied during calendering and molding. With a wide range of applications in rubber compound processes, compact size, and easy mobility, the extruder can be positioned flexibly.
- The more difficult a compound is, the more efficient the gear extruder’s performance becomes, thanks to the use of a patented feed gear.
- A gear extruder has no problem performing not only cold feed, but also hot feed.
- Any type of rubber strip can be supplied to the gear extruder.
- With superior filling properties inside the gear pump, occurrence of air bubbles is kept to an absolute minimum.
Examples of gear extruder applications
- Strainers (for all rubber compounds/low vulcanization to high vulcanization)
- Heated extrusion for supply to calenders and molds, or hot feed extrusion with screen changer use.
