This enables the optimization of extruder design to best meet the customer's needs in terms of their material and equipment performance. This development section at Kobe has a variety of laboratory extruders including cold feed, vent, pin, roller head and piggy back roller head types. These units can be matched to an extensive array of extruder screw designs. This facility is available to customers for development trials using their unique compounds.
